Life Keys Services
Life Keys connects families and individuals with trusted independent care practitioners and supports caregivers in building sustainable, values-aligned care practices. We provide thoughtful matching, care navigation, training, and cooperative pathways across Colorado.
Life Keys is a placement and support organization. We are not a direct care provider.
For Families & Clients
Caregiver Matching & Placement
Life Keys helps families identify and connect with independent care practitioners based on care needs, preferences, schedules, and household dynamics. This includes companion care, personal care support, respite, recovery assistance, and help with daily routines.
Care Navigation & Planning
We help families make sense of care options and next steps. Support may include clarifying care needs, identifying community and benefit resources, coordinating caregiving roles, and developing a realistic, sustainable care plan.
How Care Arrangements Work
Life Keys connects families with independent care practitioners. Caregivers are not employees of Life Keys.
- Pay rates are agreed upon directly between families and caregivers
- Schedules, duties, and expectations are set by mutual agreement
- Care decisions occur within the family–caregiver relationship
Life Keys supports clarity, planning, and coordination while honoring caregiver independence.
For Care Professionals
Support for Independent Care Practitioners
Life Keys works with care professionals who want meaningful work, professional respect, and long-term sustainability. We support caregivers providing non-medical, home-based care to children, adults, elders, and families.
Your Independent Practice
Care professionals who work through Life Keys operate as independent practitioners, not employees of Life Keys.
- You set rates directly with clients
- You determine availability and scheduling
- Care terms are established by mutual agreement
Training, Coaching & Professional Support
Optional training, workshops, and coaching are available to support skill-building, communication, boundaries, documentation, safety, and professionalism in home-based care.
Cooperative Pathway Education
Optional education and readiness support for caregivers interested in exploring member-owner cooperative pathways, including foundational business skills needed to build a sustainable independent care practice such as pricing, boundaries, client agreements, recordkeeping, and long-term planning.
How Life Keys Charges
Clear, Transparent Fees
Life Keys charges for placement, navigation, training, and professional support services. We do not take a percentage of caregiver wages and do not control caregiver pay.
For Families & Clients
Comprehensive Intake and Care Assessment
A structured conversation and review to understand care needs, routines, preferences, risks, scheduling, and goals. The assessment also identifies resources that support consistent care, whether care is provided by a family member or an independent care practitioner, including social supports such as food access, home maintenance, pet care, transportation, and other daily living needs.
This is a non-medical assessment focused on care coordination, planning, and resource connection.
Caregiver Matching and Placement Support
Support identifying, introducing, and onboarding independent care practitioners, including interview guidance, role clarification, and support during the initial start of care.
Optional Ongoing Support and Care Navigation
As-needed support for adjustments, transitions, coordination with community resources, and evolving care needs. Services may be hourly, package-based, or project-based.
For Care Professionals
Care professionals may choose to pay for optional training, coaching, professional profile support, and cooperative pathway education. Participation is voluntary and aligned with individual goals.
What Life Keys Does Not Do
- We do not provide hands-on care
- We do not employ caregivers
- We do not set wages or schedules
- We do not process payroll or billing
Care services are contracted directly between clients and independent care practitioners.
About Life Keys
Life Keys was created in response to a simple truth: care works best when families and caregivers are treated with dignity, clarity, and respect.
Too often, families are overwhelmed trying to navigate care options, while caregivers are undervalued, underpaid, or expected to work without clear boundaries or long-term support. Life Keys exists to change that dynamic.
We operate as a care placement, navigation, training, and cooperative development organization, not a direct care agency. Our role is to connect people, clarify expectations, and strengthen care relationships so they can be sustainable over time.
Our Purpose
Life Keys supports people through life transitions that require care — aging, disability, illness, recovery, and caregiving itself.
- Care is relational, not transactional.
- Independence and support can exist together.
- Clear roles protect everyone involved.
- Sustainable care requires fair structures.
How We Work

- Thoughtful caregiver matching
- Care navigation and planning
- Training and readiness support
- Professional development for caregivers
- Pathways toward cooperative, member-owner models
Independent practitioners or licensed partners deliver care services within their scope. Families and caregivers contract directly with one another.
A Commitment to Clarity
Life Keys is intentionally structured to avoid confusion or exploitation. We are transparent about our role, the independence of care professionals, and the direct nature of family–caregiver agreements.
Clarity builds trust. Trust strengthens care.
Rooted in Community
Life Keys works alongside families, independent care professionals, licensed providers, community organizations, and faith communities.
We believe strong care ecosystems are built locally, supported collaboratively, and sustained through shared responsibility.
Looking Forward
Life Keys is part of a broader vision to strengthen care systems through ethical practice, cooperative opportunity, and long-term sustainability.
Whether you are seeking care, providing care, or building a future in the care profession, Life Keys exists to support you in your next step with integrity and respect.
